Colorado’s HB 1286 (2021)

Colorado HB 1238 (2021)

Requires that the calculation of future Demand Side Management benefits reflects the avoided costs to ratepayers resulting from reduced consumption of natural gas, including the social cost of methane.

Colorado’s SB 246 (2021)

Directs Colorado's PUC to establish energy savings targets and approve plans for beneficial electrification.

Colorado SB 264 (2021)

Requires gas distribution utilities to file plans that promote clean heat resources in order to meet 4% GHG reductions by 2025 and 22% GHG reductions by 2030.

Connecticut Public Act 21-53

June 2021 legislation establishing a goal of deploying 1,000 MW of energy storage by the end of 2030, making Connecticut the eighth state to set an energy storage target.

Maine HP 65

Orders the State Treasurer and Public Employees Retirement System to divest fully from fossil fuel companies by 2026.

Minnesota HF 164

Heightens efficiency goals for utilities to 2.5%, encourages utilities to offer customer load management programs, and establishes efficiency planning requirements.
