A bill to prevent the state Public Utility Commission from approving a power purchase agreement if the agreement prohibits the sale of renewable energy to third parties.
LPDD Recommendation: “Each state should enact legislation directing its PUC not to approve any power purchase agreement that restricts the sale of electricity subject to curtailment.”
LPDD Recommendation: “Each state’s legislature should direct its PUC (or another agency with appropriate expertise) to conduct a review and make recommendations as to whether retail wheeling of electricity should be allowed.”
