New Jersey’s S2252 (2020)

Establishes a Statewide public plug-in electric vehicle charging system, rebates for EVs and EV chargers, and a state clean fleet requirement.

Colorado’s SB 167

Colorado authorizes EV manufacturers that have no existing dealer franchise to be able to sell their vehicles directly to customers.

New Mexico EV Tax Credit

Under HB217 (2020), the New Mexico legislature enacted an electric vehicle tax credit alongside new plug-in vehicle registration fees.

Plug-In Austin initiative

Offers rebates for the purchase of home charging stations, electric bikes, as well as charging infrastructure at businesses and multi-family housing developments.

Massachusetts’ MOR-EV program

Provides rebates of up to $2,500 for the purchase of battery EVs and fuel cell EVs, and $1,500 for hybrid EVS with an all-electric range of 25 miles or greater.
