Mission 2020’s Climate Turning Point report, co-authored by a broad array of climate advocates and researchers, surveys the necessity of peaking global emissions by 2020 in order to meet Paris Accord targets, and sets out six sectoral milestones as part of that goal. In January 2019, the World Resources Institute (WRI) conducted a broad analysis of progress toward the targets identified in the Climate Turning Point report.
