In November 2021, California’s Public Utility Commission adopted a statewide Wildfire and Natural Disaster Resiliency Rebuild Program, known as the “WNDRR Program,” to provide incentives to help homeowners impacted by a natural disaster rebuild all-electric homes in alignment with the state’s long-term climate and energy goals. Participants from disadvantaged communities will receive higher incentives. The program is open to eligible customers in all of the CPUC-regulated energy utility service territories.
The new WNDRR Program is a 10-year, $50 million program.
