DOE’s 2015 report to Congress, Pumped Storage and Potential Hydropower from Conduits, reviews potential actions to increase hydropower production from existing conduits, including resource assessment, feasibility analysis tools, improved regulatory efficiency, standardization of electrical interconnection technology and processes, and standardization of technology and development processes to reduce costs of deployment.
