Evansville and Johnson Controls completed a contract for deep energy efficiency retrofits, valued at $39M initial investment, with a 20 year payback. The project addresses lighting, HVAC, controls, valve automation, methane biogas system, and automated meter infrastructure. Under the contract, Johnson controls guarantees that the project generates enough energy savings to pay for itself over its term.
