The Idaho Forest Practices Act promotes active forest management and identifies standards for logging, road building, reforestation, streamside protection and other forest practices. The Dept. of Lands conducts landowner and logger consultations and frequent site inspections to ensure continuous growth and harvest of forest tree species.
