The Carbon Capture and Sequestration Technologies Program at MIT conducted research into technologies to capture, utilize, and store CO2 from large stationary sources from 2000 through 2016. The CC&ST Project remains online as an archive, including its global database of CCS projects. The Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage Center continues MIT’s work in advancing CCS technologies.
