The Chancery Lane Project, a collaborative effort of UK lawyers to develop new contracts and model laws to help fight climate change, has published a model law creating a long-term government incentive to kick-start infrastructure scale investment in tree planting. It will function similar to a solar feed-in tariff, providing certainty of price and return for investors to enable billions of pounds to flow into tree planting.
