This July 2021 legislation encourages the inclusion of zero-emission vehicle charging and fueling infrastructure in municipal redevelopment projects. This bill makes the construction of publicly available electric vehicle (EV) charging stations eligible for 100% funding from a municipality in the state. A publicly accessible charging station is defined in the bill as one located at a publicly available parking space.
