Philadelphia’s Bill 190600 (2019) mandates all non-residential buildings over 50,000 square foot get tune-ups to bring their energy and water systems to their highest efficiency, or submit a certification of high-energy performance to the city. The mandate is projected to cut carbon pollution by nearly 200,000 metric tons.
