The Grantham Institute’s report, A Survey of Key Technological Innovations for the Low Carbon Economy, summarizes the main technological innovation priorities required to achieve deep decarbonization. It aims to identify technologies which are crucial to achieving a low-carbon economy in the future but that are not yet at commercial scale and therefore still require significant R&D. A list of 52 mitigation options was drawn and a decision tree approach was used to short-list these options and to identify key innovation priorities.
