Baker et al.’s 2007 report surveys studies of agricultural carbon sequestration resulting from one of the most well-publicized sustainable practices: no-till farming. It finds, when surveying studies that conducted studies at depths greater than 30 cm and over a long term, that the evidence does not support no-till farming as a method of producing significant reductions of GHGs from soil.
